How do I join?
Open Minecraft Java Edition, click Multiplayer, add server colonthreemc.com. That's it. No whitelist, no application, nothing like that.
What's the IP?
colonthreemc.com (no "play."). The old basil.quest IPs still work too.
Is it actually free?
Yes. Completely free. No pay-to-win, no ranks you have to buy, no "premium perks." I run this server for free. For you!!
Can I play on Bedrock?
Maybe. Use colonthreemc.com on port 19132. Fair warning: Bedrock support is unreliable, contact Jamie (im_slate) on the Discord if it's broken. Java Edition is preferred.
What version of Minecraft do I need?
The latest version should work (contact Jamie if it doesn't), but for 100% guaranteed working, use 1.26.11.
How do I switch gamemodes?
Use /hub and click on that gamemode's NPC to join that server.
Can I donate?
We don't have a donation system set up right now. If you really want to throw money at us, idk ping me in Discord.
How do I report someone?
Hop in the Discord and ping im_slate. Screenshots help.
Where are the rules?
Right here. Read 'em. They're short and mostly common sense.
Is this server actually safe for trans people?
Yeah. We built it for us. Transphobia gets you BANNED! Be nice!
Who runs this place?
Jamie does! Well, Amber owns it, but I've been running it on her behalf for a bit, and I've made a few changes.
Do I need mods?
No. We used to need mods and a modpack but it'll all work on Vanilla now. Mods might actually break stuff. If you REALLY want mods, maybe try Remarkably Optimized or our official modpack (which is based off of remarkably optimized)! It gives you better FPS and I use it on the server.
Are hacked clients allowed?
Not really, but some more powerful mods are allowed, see rules.

How do I get to the hub?
Do /hub in any server, and you'll be teleported to the hub.

Do /spawn or /suicide to return to the origin.

When does the server restart?
Every Tuesday at 6:00 AM UTC (convertin'...). The whole network goes down for a few minutes while everything reboots. Plan your boss fights accordingly.

How do I claim my area?
Do /towny create YourTownName to create a town. Then, do /t claim to expand your claim. Remember to put money in your town (/t deposit) to keep it running.
Creative
How do I use WorldEdit?
You need to claim an area first, then use //wand and such as you normally would.

I'm trapped in the land of wind and ghosts. How do I get back to the server?
Use /hub to return to the mortal plane. If you have not been immediately transported to the mortal plane, please contact im_slate on the Discord, because something has gone very wrong.
